SW Associates was commissioned by THR to help create a new strategy for the sustainable development of tourism in Oman. The strategy mapped out seven major “Themes” for the country’s Tourism Strategy:

1. Plan and develop 

2. Be socially and environmentally responsible 

3. Develop memorable natural and cultural heritage tourism experiences

4. Attract higher yielding customers 

5. Develop human capital 

6. Improve competitiveness diamond

7. Govern and manage the system

Activities & Services:

  • Extensive stakeholder meetings and interviews .
  • Workshops were developed and conducted for Destination Management, Governance and  Local Community relations.
  • Developed Action Plans and “Work Streams” for each Initiative.
